Rules
A few rules to help things run smoothly:
RC Trader Australia (RCTA) provides FREE listings in the "Used & Wanted" categories of the classifieds advertisements to residents of Australia & New Zealand or not-for-profit organisations.
Listing in the "New" categories will require you to purchase credits for the placement of each ad. The cost of the ad will be advised at the selection of the category when creating your ad. Credits can be purchased using PayPal for security. More information can be found here.
Usage rules
- You must comply with these Terms & Conditions (click link to view) when accessing and using the RCTA site.
- All advertisements placed are the responsibility of the person placing the advert.
- Each ad will have only 1 selling price. If you have multiple items with individual prices, you will need to create individual ads for each item.
- Do not place prices in the headline.
- If your if you feel the item's cost could vary greatly, then you can place a price of $0, and mark the price policy as "Price - Lets Talk"
- Ads placed in the "used" categories need to genuinely be used items.
- Ads placed in the "used" categories cannot contain the words "new" in the headline or proport to be new in the copy.
- You may not place duplicate ads for the same item.
- You may upload up to three (3) images with your advertisement. The system will automatically resize your images as required.
- Each ad will expire after three (3) months, unless you log in and renew your advertisement. You will receive a reminder email prior to your ad expiration.
- Unless stated otherwise in the advertisement, freight or postage costs are additional to the price of the item stated in the ad. The cost of freight or postage is the responsibility of the buyer unless by prior arrangement with the seller.
- NO commercial advertisements or links promoting items on other posts/forums/websites or auctions will be permitted without prior arrangement.
